Description

The Native Elder Caregiver Curriculum (NECC) was designed to meet identified learning needs of family caregivers, as well as Tribal community‐based caregivers. The NECC is based in evidence-based practice versatile in its reach and flexible in its delivery and can be offered by local health professionals, especially nurses, who have had experience with providing direct care for older adults. It can also be adapted to the specific learning needs of caregivers and can be used flexibly to meet training schedules for any given caregiver group. There is no cost associated with this intervention.
